Simon Fraser University's (SFU) associate vice-president, research (AVPR), reporting to the vice-president, research and international, supports the implementation of SFU's Strategic Research Plan, seeks and responds to institutional opportunities and plays a significant role in ensuring that SFU’s infrastructure and research operations continue to meet the needs of its faculty members.
